Cedar Spring Farm, Inc. – Training and Rehab Facility
Cedar Spring Farm is a full service training and rehab facility located in beautiful Charlotte, Vermont. Cedar Spring Farm is owned and operated by the Hayes Sogoloff family and has been in operation since 1976. The farm was located in Essex, Vermont for over 30 years. In 2005, the farm was relocated to a newly built state of the art facility at 175 McGuire Pent Rd in Charlotte,Vt.
TRAINING, SALES, LESSONS
The farm is noted for its quality Morgan and more recently, American Saddlebred horses – horses proving themselves in the show ring consistently since the farm’s inception. Many world, national, and regional champions owe their titles to the trainers and staff of this famous facility. In addition, the farm served as a premier breeding operation to fresh cooled and frozen semen, with high quality breeding stock ready to purchase.
Cedar Spring Farm also provides sales stock, with always a strong grouping of prospects and trained individuals for every division and pocketbook. The farm also is noted for its popular lesson program which readies show riders to high level competition as well as introducing new riders to the world of horses
More recently, Cedar Spring Farm has partnered with Burlington Equine, Inc., a veterinary practice devoted to Equine Sports Medicine under the very talented and esteemed Dr. Randy Frantz. Cedar Spring will undertake the rehabilitation of equine athletes suffering from trauma and sports related injuries. A plethora of treatments are available, all monitored by Dr. Franz.
The unique layout of the facility provides the perfect venue for reconditioning injured horses and quickly returning them to use. We are very excited to make our farm a haven for horses of all breeds and disciplines which need our assistance.
